Welcome to SpikeGuard, a volleyball training application developed for coaches and student-athletes at Batangas State University TNEU JPLPC–Malvar Campus. By downloading, installing, or using this application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you are under 18 years of age, you may only use SpikeGuard under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who has agreed to these Terms. SpikeGuard is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age.

Important: SpikeGuard is a training tool and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns.

2. Eligibility & Registration

User Eligibility

SpikeGuard is available exclusively to:

  • Current coaches and staff of Batangas State University TNEU JPLPC–Malvar Campus
  • Enrolled student-athletes participating in the university's volleyball program
  • Authorized university personnel involved in athletic training and development

Registration Requirements

To create an account, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it current
  • Safeguard your account credentials and not share them with others
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

3. Permitted Use & Restrictions

Permitted Activities

As a SpikeGuard user, you may:

  • Coaches: Create training programs, monitor athlete performance, analyze data, and communicate with athletes within the app.
  • Athletes: Track training progress, record health metrics, complete assigned workouts, and communicate with coaches.
  • Both: Access app features, view performance analytics, and utilize training resources provided through the application.

Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  • Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account
  • Use SpikeGuard for any purpose other than volleyball training and development
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or security
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Use the app to harass, abuse, or discriminate against others
  • Collect or harvest user data without authorization
  • Impersonate another person or entity

4. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Critical Health Warning: SpikeGuard is designed to supplement, not replace, professional medical advice, coaching, or training. The app provides data and insights based on user input and algorithms, but it cannot account for all individual health factors or circumstances.

Medical Precautions

SpikeGuard and its entire contents, features, and functionality are owned by Batangas State University TNEU JPLPC–Malvar Campus and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Text, graphics, logos, and designs

You retain ownership of the content you submit to SpikeGuard, including:

  • Providing false or misleading information during registration
  • Inactivity for a continuous period of 12 months

Effects of Termination

Upon termination:
